The Wolf is the pathfinder, the forerunner of new ideas who returns to the clan to teach and share medicine. The Wolf takes one mate for life and is loyal like a dog. If you were to keep in company with wolves, you would find an enormous sense of a family within the pack, as well as a strong individualistic urge. These qualities make the wolf very much like the human race.

When I was about 10 years old, I used to read books on wolves and was really amazed on how they interact with each other in such harsh environments. They are such faithful and loyal creatures and show me just how much we can learn from them. I really love wolves and you'd never know how much they mean to me. The jaguar is my totem animal but I consider the wolf as my spirit guide.
